The Manalishies have to be the fastest progressing unsigned band of 2008.
Having finished the line-up in January 2008 with the recruitment of Paul Manning on vocals, the band have recorded a demo, installed a top quality website, built up a following, had radio airplay, gained quality management, continually progressed through the national Surface Unsigned battle of the bands and have plans that include top UK festivals, University tours and a re-recording of the demo with new tracks tipped for the top.
The Manalishies are 4 people destined to make music together, that’s why the band has moved so quickly. There are no hurdles, no problems, no politics. When the guitar strikes up and the bass kicks in everyone knows where they are and why they are here. This band was meant to be and the music and live performances pay testament to this.
They play raw, soulful rock music, through a simple 4 piece line-up. Having been described as 'dynamic', 'one of the best unsigned bands around' and 'rock n roll with a whole lot of soul', the band is widely tipped for success.
The Manalishies have one aim. To make quality music. The band strive for success not fame, musical acclaim not short lived notoriety , respect not celebrity.
The Manalishies are rock and roll.
